Phillipston sees ten deed transfers in four-week span, most with undisclosed prices
Worcester County Registry of Deeds records show 10 property transfers in Phillipston between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5. Five disclosed a sale price, ranging from $7,565 to $380,000, with a median of $45,000. The month's top transaction was 60 Petersham Rd at $380,000, sold to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc and American Neighborhood Mortgage Acceptance Co LLC. Four of the five priced sales named a bank or credit union as buyer, and several unpriced transfers involved trusts or same-surname co-owners, suggesting a mix of financial and family-related transactions rather than typical market sales this period.
